My second trip backstage during New York Fashion Week was for Banana Republic’s FW16 presentation at Highline Stages in Manhattan on Saturday, February 13. There, I met Cutler/Redken Salon’s lead hair stylist Brian Buenaventura, who showed me how he did both these super chic loose ponytails and effortless waves on all the models. I also met and chatted with Stila Cosmetics’ current Global Director of Education, Sarah Lucero, who walked me through the beauty looks for the show, and introduced me to the new micro.mini correct.four beauty blenders out now! Both were so sweet to talk to, and I learned so much about hair and beauty tricks.

After hanging out backstage at Banana Republic, I then headed over to Highline Studios to check out the official presentation! After getting a closer look at the hair and makeup backstage, it was so nice to see all the looks come together. I love this collection so much and can’t wait to purchase some pieces! My favorites are definitely that beautiful light grey coat, almost everything you see in camel, and all those cute scarves! Don’t even get me started on how beautiful and sweet all the models were.

A special thanks to Banana Republic and Cutler/Redken Salon for inviting me.
