I always enjoy going backstage during New York Fashion Week, but this was my first opportunity going backstage during Bridal fashion week. Although I admit I am definitely not the type of girl who has been thinking her wedding since she was little, I do love the beauty end of the occasion. The braided up-dos and flowy locks, timeless lipstick, and chiseled cheekbones are always so elegant. So you can imagine how pleased I was when my friend invited me to come backstage at Naeem Khan’s Spring 2018 Bridal Show in New York City this past April.

Once backstage, I was introduced to the two founders of Make-Up Pro, Chika Chan and Cheve Chan, the New York City-based duo assigned to the handle the makeup for the show. Their makeup team was busy working on the models by the time I arrived, but I did have a chance to chat with them about the inspiration behind the looks and learn a little bit more about their array of makeup products.
