A Mini Glamglow Haul: Skincare to the Rescue

Mini Glamglow haul

It’s fair to say I keep my skincare routine pretty minimal. I tend to stick to the bare necessities: a gentle, yet powerful acne wash; a water-based gel moisturizer; and a good face mask here and there. I haven’t even experimented much with toner or oils outside of my Birchbox samples. However, my skin has called for a little extra pick-me-up lately, so I decided to treat myself to a mini Glamglow haul!

First things first: the masque.

The main reason I found myself browsing the Glamglow website was because my skin was looking very lackluster and dry. This is a brand with “glow” in their name, and glow they deliver.

Their Thirstymud masque is an all-time favorite of mine. Before it was a masque, it was a face cleanser that I used daily in the morning. Now, they’ve pumped up its power as a leave-in masque. Ten minutes of this and my skin is plumped, glowing, and hydrated again!

Next: the moisturizer.

I have forgone foundation for most of my time in quarantine (except for the occasional conference call), so a tinted moisturizer goes a long way for me. Enter the Glowstarter mega illuminating moisturizer. It does just as described: it’s a moisturizer with stellar glowing power. Just a little does wonders, especially when you’re ditching your foundation altogether.

Finally, the eye cream.

I, like many others, have dark circles under my eyes, and I’m convinced they are far worse than they look. Nevertheless, I’ve been using Glamglow’s Brighteyes illuminated anti-fatigue eye cream for a couple of weeks now and it has delivered.

It’s gentle on my sensitive skin, instantly brightens the area around my eyes, and is compact enough for me to take anywhere. It’s a solid win in my book.

Bonus: recovery mask.

One of the deluxe samples that came in my shipment is the Berryglow probiotic recovery mask. This nutrient-packed masque is “like a superfood smoothie for your face,” and smells like it, too. After just one use, my skin felt and looked so much healthier. It was a nice little treat to try, and I might consider buying the full-size in the future.

Have you tried Glamglow in the past? What are some other skincare brands that you love that I should check out?

  • I am obsessed with Glamglow! I remember getting a few trial sized products in my bag after a Sephora purchase and they are incredible! I’ve tried the masque and that is probably my favourite product from them! I am definitely eager to try that eye cream you mentioned. I struggle so much with dark circles (mostly because I never sleep ha!).

Love hearing about what you’re using on your skin because it looks flawless!!

    • Aw thanks for the compliment! My skin can be so much trouble – it’s super sensitive and I have to be careful what I use, but Glamglow has been one of those consistent brands for me. And that eye cream is a definite must-try! Hopefully it works for you. 🙂
